SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 01: Pick Up from Bangalore – Stay at Wayanad.
Pick Up from Majestic in Bangalore at 06:00 AM, and proceed to Wayanad (275 Kms. / 6 Hrs.). By around 01:00 PM, Check In at the hotel for 03 Nights. Day free for leisure and relax at the hotel. Overnight stay at Wayanad
Day 02: Wayanad Sightseeing – Stay at Wayanad.
By around 09:00 AM, start for sightseeing.Visit Edakkal Caves – which can be reached by around 1 Hr. Uphill Trek from Edakkal. Inside the caves are stone age carvings believed to be dating to at least 5000 BC, indicating the presence of a prehistoric civilization in this region. Visit Wayanad Heritage Museum the archaeological museum in Wayanad, which has one of Kerala’s largest collections of the remnants of an era dating back to the 2nd century A.D. The exhibits here are evidences of an advanced civilization that existed in the mountains of Wayanad. After sightseeing return to hotel.Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day-03: Wayanad Sightseeing – Stay at Wayanad.
By around 09:00 AM, start for sightseeing. Visit Banasura Sagar Dam – the largest earthen dam in India and the second largest in Asia where attractions include Boating and a Small Children’s Park. Later visit Wayanad Adventure Camp lying on the shores of the Karlad Lake. Activities here include Boating, Kayaking Etc… Visit Pookode Lake – a scenic fresh water lake, where attractions include Boating, Children’s Park, Fresh Water Aquarium, Handicrafts and Spices Emporium, Chain Tree & Lakkidi View Point – with its winding roads, the bird’s eye view of the deep valley from here is really breath taking. After sightseeing return to hotel.Overnight stay at Wayanad.

Day-04: Wayanad Sightseeing – Drop Back to Bangalore.
By around 09:00 AM, Check Out and go for sightseeing. Visit Edakkal Caves – which can be reached by around 1 Hr. Uphill Trek from Edakkal. Visit Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary – Elephants roam freely here and tigers are sighted occasionally as well. Various species of deer, monkeys and birds also live here. The Reserve is also home to a profusion of birds, butterflies and insects. By around 04:00 PM, proceed to Bangalore. Drop Back to Majestic in Bangalore before 10:00 PM.
